PTA HOPE SQUAD LIAISON

What is a PTA Hope Squad Liaison?

The PTA commits to create a position on their board called “PTA Hope Squad Liaison”. This position is typically taken by a parent with a child on the school’s Hope Squad. If you want to be a liaison, but your child is not on a Hope Squad, and they would like to join, they can contact the Hope Squad advisor. They should be permitted to join, barring any unforeseen circumstances, as per Hope Squad guidelines.

Liaisons will share with the PTA at their monthly meeting the events occurring in the Hope Squad, provide volunteer support in Hope Squad activities when needed, and work with the Hope Squad advisor on the renewal of the PTA/Hope Squad Grant.

Also required by the liaison is to respond to two surveys from Hope4Orem during the school year, help spread the word about Hope4Orem events, and participate in these events when possible.

NOTE: Renewal of the grant is contingent on the fulfillment these commitments.

Commitment level: average.
